I think I'm becoming addicted to eBay. Do they have a 12 step program for this?
I'm currently bidding on 8 items and have won 31 items in total since 13th June 2009.
In my defense I have sold 12 (count 'em) items on there too, so it's not all buy, buy buy.

I can't help it, I just love bidding, and clothes, and getting parcels in the post, and my feedback total going up. And the list goes on...
As far as vices go, at least it's safe.
Despite the perky title, it's not been such a "good mornin'" for me; I feel like I haven't slept a wink. I look like I haven't slept a wink.
It doesn't help that some manic (council worker?) has been sawing at things- I don't know what, I didn't think to look- outside since 7.30am this morning.
And? It's raining heavily. Joy.
At least I'm feeling much better today and appear to have returned to the land of the living. No more nausea! Or Heartburn! Hurrah.
This improvement could, of course, be in part to do with the sneaky Topshop order I put in last night.
I was naughty and treated myself to a new cardigan and a pair of indigo skinny jeans for A/W.
It's mid July and I'm already hankering after cosy knits, boots and scarves and beanies. Not to mention crisp cold sunny days, and hot chocolate with mini marshmallows.
Usually I get excited about Autumn/Winter in August. Seems I'm a month ahead of schedule this year, but who can blame me when the weather's doing it's best impression of a dreary October day?
I've always thought that I was more suited to the Winter season. It's not that I dislike Spring or Summer per se, it's just I find more to love about that season than any other. The clothes are a big draw for me; I love the rich colours and tactile fabrics; layering for warmth; cute scarves and hats; getting into my favorite pyjamas and throwing on a hoodie and pair of cosy socks. Bliss.
And, of course, there's Christmas. Which I absolutely adore, but that's another story for another time...

Yes still ill. At least the vomiting has stopped. Every cloud...
However, I feel as weak and wobbly as a half starved Bambi (disclaimer: no deers, fictitious or living, were harmed in the making of this sentence) and have barely eaten anything for two days. Why is that the medication often makes you feel more wretched than the ailment itself?
I guess a mixture of antibiotic, antidepressant and antiviral will have that effect. Quite a cocktail I think you'll agree; shame it isn't of the alcoholic variety, not that my poor stomach is in any fit state for imbibing such things.
On a much more positive note: my very lovely boyfriend-who shall henceforth be called JB-paid me a surprise visit bearing 'get well' gifts and hugs. I am now the proud owner of the Johnny Depp DVD collection; The Best of Massive Attack, and a super cute watermelon keychain. And, if that weren't fabulous enough, he walked in the pouring rain to see me. Romeo has nothing on him...
We totasted his visit with goats milk tea. As one does. Although, I shan't be doing so again as it tasted too much like liquid Goat's Cheese for my liking. Brown liquid Goat's Cheese I'll grant, but Goat's Cheese nevertheless.

As worrying as the state of the global economy surely is, I'm slightly more concerned with my own personal fiscal matters. It seems that-increasingly- I am literally holding out for pay day as soon as my wages are paid in. Where does the money go? I know I need to curb my spending, but I do wonder how on earth anyone can afford to live. Everything costs so much- was it always like this?
Having checked my accounts for the third time- yes I really do have as little as I thought (!)- I have decided that enough is enough. No more unnecessary spending: it's high time I got my finances in order. Once and for all.
Money doesn't buy you happiness, but at least it buys you the security of not having to worry how you're going to make ends meet....

What’s your signature look?
Black ankle grazing skinny jeans, ballet flats and stripy t-shirts and vests with a cardigan. Think Brigitte Bardot meets Audrey Hepburn with a modern twist. I'm also rather fond of 60s style/tea dresses and like wearing them with my ankle length grey pixie boots.

I would have to say my afforemention grey pixie boots. I have lived in them, and they literally go with everything. Plus, they were a bargain at £15.60. I'm also very fond of all the eBay bargains I've discovered.

I'm pretty contented right now. Life is good for me.
